Looks like I picked the perfect week to be “homebound” taking pictures of jewelry and getting the new shop up and running. I haven’t even thought about heading to my staple every other day hot yoga classes with this weather. I HAVE been doing Nordic Track and weights at home though, so yes I will have that B&J Late Night Snack – sidebar: Ben & Jerry you were on my ****list when you discontinued Wavy Gravy, you may have just redeemed yourselves!

For those of you not lucky enough to be in the area, Minneapolis actually set a record yesterday when the dew point hit 82 degrees at MSP airport breaking the old record of 81 degrees. The heat index was 118 degrees. Huh? Yeah, I’ll gladly stay inside!

I AM loving my new Canon EOS Rebel camera though! It’s super light compared to my other camera AND it has a pretty easy learning curve. You’ll definitely see the difference in quality between older pics on the blog and my newer jewelry pics.

I’m still learning all the ins and outs and trying to figure out how to pick up some of the detail on textured jewelry pieces, but all in all it’s definitely a Yvette DO if you’re in the market for a new camera!
